HISTORY OF NEBC

New Estate Baptist Church, Surulere is a purely English speaking dynamic Bible-believing church, started some fourty-two years ago to cater for the spiritual needs of people in and around Lagos, and to from there to reach out with the gospel message of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.

She is located at No. 57, Adisa Bashua Street, Off Adelabu Street, in Surulere and by the grace of God has continued to nurture and raise Christian leaders who have become quite prominent in many other christian denominations in Nigeria and beyond

New Estate Baptist Church is a place of extra-ordinary miracles.

OUR MISSION

We exist to fully manifest the Love of God, His Righteousness, His Power and His Glory in order to bring all nations to His saving grace and to a growing relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.

We manifest the love of God through evangelism (the practical act of proclaiming the love of God to those who have not yet embraced it), and by caring for one another with regards to our physical situations.

We seek to pursue Rigtheousness through sound teaching and preaching of biblical truths and standards; and a deliberate attempt to transform these truths into exemplary Christian lifestyle in sound, moral and ethical conduct.

We manifest the power of God as we allow the Holy Spirit to operate in full measure in our midst, thereby bringing us in contact with full measure in our midst, thereby bringing us in contact with the supernatural and the extra-ordinary miracles of God which are carried out in our individual lives and in the church as a corporate body.

We manifest God's glory as we go further to showcase the mighty works of God in our lives; and people are brought daily into this glorious presence of our God in each worship experience.
